Since last November the ´Happy Hour´ in Barcelona doesn’t exists any more!
With this rule, they want to avoid nuisance and alcohol addiction.
By violating this rule, they risk a penance of € 6000,-

For many Spanish costumers it doesn’t matter because by that time they are not drinking yet. Especially young tourists love ´Happy Jour´ in Barcelona! Mostly it is cheaper than in there one country.

Rotterdam Marathon: No legs, no problem!

Last weekend, the Rotterdam Marathon was celebrated. The world famous event in Rotterdam was held for the thirtieth time.

The Rotterdam marathon has been held under relatively easy circumstances. The weather in Rotterdam was ideal for a marathon. Partially cloudy.

This year’s winner of the Rotterdam Marathon is Patrick Makau is the winner of the Fortis marathon in Rotterdam! The 25 years old Kenyan ran the 42 km official marathon distance in 2 hours, 4 minutes and 48 seconds!

Leg amputee Paralympics’ athlete Richard Whitehead (33) has finished the Marathon of Rotterdam without any problem. Being world champion on both half and Olympic distance, the athlete finished the Rotterdam marathon in 2 hours 45 minutes and 47 seconds , improving his personal best of 2 hours and 50 minutes.

The Rotterdam Marathon is always a great sport celebration where you will meet thousands of locals. It is needless to point out that Rotterdam has a lot more to offer: museums, art galleries, shops and fancy restaurants. Fortis Rotterdam Marathon 2010

On the 11th of April the Fortis Rotterdam Marathon starts again. This will be the 30th edition of one of the most well know Marathons of the world. The Fortis Marathon Rotterdam is the biggest one-day event in the Netherlands.

In 2009 over 22,000 participants took part and this year they expect even more participants. Enjoy Rotterdam has prepared you some very nice apartments in Rotterdam that are located close to the start at the Stadhuis on the Coolsingel.

People who not yet dare to run the Fortis Marathon Rotterdam but still want to taste a bit of this special event can choose to run the 10K Run Rotterdam!

Barcelona - Arsenal

Tonight, the 6th of April the football match Barcelona – Arsenal is played!

FC Barcelona will welcome Arsenal in Camp Nou. The match will begin at 20:45. The one who win this game plays in the Champions League semi finals.



Unfortunately Zlatan Ibrahimovic doesn´t play in this game but Barcelona still has other players like Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi!

This will be a very exciting match!

Easter review: Skiing in Andorra

To go skiing in Andorra means that you will be pretty sure that you will have enough snow. The high mountains of the "Principat" of Andorra basically guarantee the skiers of snow.

We went to the area of Arinsal and La Massana this time to have an inside look during Easter. Staying in one of the La Massana Apartments (Giberga) gives you the freedom of hopping (well.. skiing actually) between Arinsal's ski area and La Massana's ski area, both being Vallnord.

Vallnord is an interesting ski area both for beginners and more advanced skiers. Due to the high temperatures during this year's Easter break it was not so very busy at the slopes nor in the villages. If you still want to go to ski in Andorra, be quick; the season ends in a week!
