Not even the top scorer of the Spanish league, the argentinian Lionel Messi, is able to displace David Beckham from the top of football´s richest list. This handsome English remains the highest-earning football player in the world, earning more than 35 million euros in 2009!
The 6th place is for Messi, not even in the top 5!
Beckham mostly due his position to his advertising contracts with Armani, Motorola and Adidas, as well as Cristiano Ronaldo, image of Coca Cola, Nike, Armani y Banco Espirito Santo.
